Train with Heart, Race for SMS Research

Update:

We have sad news to share. Due to a non-training related injury, Jenni is no longer able to compete in the Ironman Challenge this August. Despite this setback, Jenni would like to express her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported SMS Research thus far.

We want to keep this page active for a bit longer to give others the opportunity to donate to this important cause that is so close to Jenni’s heart. Your continued support means the world to her.

Please join us in sending Jenni warm wishes for a speedy recovery. While she won’t be able to participate in the Ironman, your donations and spreading the word about SMS Research remain crucial in advancing critical research initiatives.

Thank you for your unwavering support.

This August, I will be taking on the challenge of the Ironman in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. Its location is near to my heart as it was where I competed in my first Ironman 8 years ago.

This year I am dedicating my training and race day to raising money for Smith-Magenis Syndrome Research through the SMS Research Foundation.

As many of you know, SMS is the rare disease that Griffin was born with and that affects his life on a daily basis. This cause is important to me because the SMS Research Foundation’s goal is to support research to improve the knowledge and understanding of Smith-Magenis Syndrome so that viable therapeutic options can be developed in order to improve the quality of life of those with SMS.

So, while I put in the training to get ready for swimming 2.4 miles, riding 112 miles and running 26.2 miles on race day consider donating to help me help fund life changing research for individuals with SMS. All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you for your support!
