2015 CHALLENGE GRANT

The SMSRF is pleased to announce an incredible fundraising opportunity!

An anonymous donor has offered $50,000 in the form of a challenge grant.

All funds donated to the SMSRF throughout the ensuing months will be matched up to $50,000. It is important that we take full advantage of this opportunity to maximize our ability to fund the SMSRF Research Initiative at the Baylor School of Medicine. Get started here!

of Medicine, the Smith-Magenis Syndrome Research Foundation has announced an additional $200,000 gift.”Read more…

RESEARCH UPDATE
The first year of research at the Baylor College of Medicine was very successful. We have made progress
in gaining a better understanding of the function of the RAi1 protein. To learn more about what Dr. Elsea and
Dr. Lupski have been working on, click here.

UPCOMING EVENTS
May 1-2, 2015: The SMSRF co-founders will be attending the 2015 SMS UK Conference in Birmingham, England in order to increase international awareness of the SMSRF mission and goals and to educate families and other SMS organizations about global participation.
November 2015: Fundraising events will take place in Connecticut, Florida, and California. Exact dates and more details will be announced soon. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting an event!
